Claire leads business development for energy storage at Redwood Materials, where the team builds storage systems from repurposed EV battery packs to cut cost, shorten lead times, and reduce exposure to import and tariff risk. She spent eight years at Proterra and more than four years at Tesla in business development and finance roles for Tesla Energy. She began her career at McKinsey and holds an MBA from Stanford and a BS from Duke.

James hosts Build, Repeat., a podcast of deep discussions with the people helping us build our way out of climate change. He co-founded Paces to help developers find and de-risk the sites that get to power fastest. He writes on how AI is reshaping power development, including the essay “The One-Person, Billion-Dollar Power Development Company,” and is a frequent speaker on the subject, most recently at CERAWeek’s Energy Innovation Pioneers panel.
